Sumvaad Events Organiser Terms

These Event Organiser Terms & Listing Policy (“Terms”) govern the submission, publication, management, and promotion of event listings on Sumvaad Trade Events, operated by Sumvaad (“Sumvaad”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By creating, submitting, publishing, or managing an event listing on Sumvaad Trade Events, you (“Organiser”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not submit or publish any event listing on the platform.

1. About Sumvaad Trade Events

​

Sumvaad Trade Events is a business discovery and information platform that enables Indian businesses, professionals, and users to discover trade fairs, expos, exhibitions, conferences, and other business-related events.

Sumvaad acts solely as a discovery and listing platform and does not organise, manage, operate, endorse, certify, supervise, or control the events listed on the platform unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Publication of a listing on Sumvaad does not imply endorsement, verification, recommendation, sponsorship, certification, or approval of the event by Sumvaad.

2. Eligibility to Publish Listings

 

You may submit an event listing only if:

  • you are the event organiser;

  • you are an authorised representative of the organiser; or

  • you otherwise possess the legal authority and permissions required to publish the event and its related content.

By submitting a listing, you represent and warrant that all submitted information is accurate, lawful, current and not misleading.

 

3. Organiser Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • the accuracy of your listing;

  • all event-related information published by you;

  • obtaining all licences, permissions, approvals, registrations, permits, and legal compliances required for conducting the event;

  • ensuring that your event complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry requirements.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • event dates;

  • venue details;

  • ticketing information;

  • exhibitor details;

  • speaker details;

  • contact information;

  • pricing information;

  • registration links;

  • promotional materials;

  • brochures;

  • logos;

  • images;

  • videos;

  • sponsor information.

Sumvaad shall not be responsible for any incorrect, outdated, incomplete, misleading, or unauthorised information submitted by organisers.

3. Organiser Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • the accuracy of your listing;

  • all event-related information published by you;

    • obtaining all licences, permissions, approvals, registrations, permits, and legal compliances required for conducting the event;

    • ensuring that your event complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry requirements.

  • This includes, but is not limited to:

    • event dates;

    • venue details;

    • ticketing information;

    • exhibitor details;

    • speaker details;

    • contact information;

    • pricing information;

    • registration links;

    • promotional materials;

    • brochures;

    • logos;

    • images;

    • videos;

    • sponsor information.

Sumvaad shall not be responsible for any incorrect, outdated, incomplete, misleading, or unauthorised information submitted by organisers.

4. Intellectual Property & Content Rights

​

You retain ownership of the intellectual property rights in the content submitted by you, to the extent such rights are legally owned or controlled by you. By submitting content to Sumvaad, you grant Sumvaad a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to:

  • host;

  • store;

  • reproduce;

  • publish;

  • display;

  • distribute;

  • modify for formatting purposes;

  • promote;

  • archive;

  • and otherwise use the submitted content

in connection with:

  • Sumvaad Trade Events;

  • Sumvaad marketing activities;

  • social media promotions;

  • newsletters;

  • search visibility;

  • archived event records;

  • and related platform operations.

This licence remains valid even after the event date has passed, unless removal is required by law or expressly approved by Sumvaad.

 

You further confirm that:

  • you own or control the rights to all submitted content; or

  • you possess all permissions necessary to use and publish such content.

You shall not upload or publish any material that infringes any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary rights of any third party.

5. Listing Approval, Moderation & Removal

​

Sumvaad reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion, to:

  • approve or reject listings;

  • edit listings for formatting, categorisation, clarity, or quality purposes;

  • suspend or remove listings;

  • archive past events;

  • restrict organiser access;

  • or refuse publication of any listing

without prior notice and without assigning any reason.

Sumvaad may take such action if:

  • the listing violates these Terms;

  • the information appears misleading or inaccurate;

  • complaints are received;

  • legal concerns arise;

  • duplicate or spam listings are detected;

  • the event appears fraudulent or suspicious;

  • or removal is deemed necessary for platform integrity, user trust, operational, or legal reasons.

6. Event Visibility & Archival

 

Event listings may remain visible before, during, and after the completion of the event.

After the event date has passed, Sumvaad may:

  • move the listing to a past events section;

  • archive the listing for historical and informational purposes;

  • continue displaying the listing for search and discovery purposes;

  • or remove the listing at its discretion.

Sumvaad is under no obligation to permanently remove archived listings unless required by law or expressly approved by Sumvaad.

7. No Guarantee of Leads, Sales or Attendance

Sumvaad does not guarantee:

  • leads;

  • enquiries;

  • registrations;

  • attendees;

  • exhibitors;

  • buyers;

  • sales;

  • revenue;

  • business opportunities;

  • website traffic;

  • search visibility;

  • conversions;

  • or commercial success of any kind.

Any performance or results arising from an event listing depend on multiple factors outside Sumvaad’s control, including market conditions, event quality, pricing, timing, industry demand, organiser reputation, and independent promotional efforts.

Organisers acknowledge that publication on Sumvaad does not constitute any assurance of business performance or event success.

8. Payments, Fees & GST

 

Sumvaad may offer free or paid event listings at its discretion.

Any pricing, listing fees, promotional packages, or visibility upgrades introduced by Sumvaad may be modified, introduced, suspended, or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.

Sumvaad currently does not hold a GST registration number (GSTIN). Accordingly, GST invoices are not issued at this stage.

Organisers acknowledge and agree to this condition before making any payment to Sumvaad.

9. Prohibited Content & Conduct

​

You shall not publish or submit any listing that:

  • is false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive;

  • violates any law or regulation;

  • infringes any intellectual property rights;

  • promotes illegal activities;

  • contains defamatory, abusive, obscene, or harmful material;

  • impersonates another entity;

  • contains malware, spam, or malicious links;

  • duplicates listings in a misleading manner;

  • or otherwise harms the integrity of the platform.

Sumvaad reserves the right to immediately remove such content and restrict access without notice. Read more about our guidelines.

10. Third-Party Links & External Platforms

​

Event listings may contain links to external websites, registration systems, ticketing platforms, or third-party services. Sumvaad does not control or endorse such external platforms and shall not be responsible for:

  • third-party content;

  • ticketing disputes;

  • payment disputes;

  • event cancellations;

  • refunds;

  • registrations;

  • or external website functionality.

Users interact with such third-party platforms entirely at their own discretion and risk.

11. Indemnity

​

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sumvaad, its founders, team members, affiliates, employees, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, legal proceedings, penalties, or expenses arising from:

  • your event;

  • your listing;

  • your submitted content;

  • your violation of these Terms;

  • infringement of third-party rights;

  • misleading or unlawful information;

  • or any dispute relating to your event or conduct.

12. Limitation of Liability

​

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Sumvaad shall not be liable for any:

  • indirect damages;

  • consequential damages;

  • loss of revenue;

  • loss of profit;

  • business interruption;

  • reputational loss;

  • data loss;

  • event failure;

  • attendee disputes;

  • or commercial losses

arising out of or relating to the use of Sumvaad Trade Events or any listing published on the platform.

Sumvaad’s role is limited solely to providing a discovery and listing platform.

13. Suspension & Termination

​

Sumvaad reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate organiser access to the platform at its discretion, particularly in cases involving:

  • repeated policy violations;

  • misleading information;

  • abuse of the platform;

  • spam behaviour;

  • legal complaints;

  • or conduct harmful to platform trust and integrity.

14. Changes to These Terms

​

Sumvaad may revise or update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions shall become effective upon publication on the platform unless otherwise specified.

Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

​

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Insert City, State], India.
