I already run a retail business but now I want to start get into small scale skincare manufacturing (homemade). I am thinking to make soaps, creams, body butter and sell through Instagram.

But fully confused on legal side. Some people say GST and MSME enough. Others saying need cosmetic/drug license. Someone also told me maybe FSSAI if product goes on lips.

I don’t know what is actually required. Anyone here already selling homemade skincare, please share what license you took and cost.
