I’ve worked in small accounting firms, understand basics of bookkeeping + GST returns. Considering starting bookkeeping / tax-support service for local kirana shops in smaller towns (Tier-3 / 4). Minimum investment, just laptop + smartphone + mobile data.

But everywhere people say, “lots of competition”, “everyone thinks GST filing is enough”. I worry I’ll barely get clients or have to charge so little that earnings don’t matter.

For people who tried this or heard of, does this makes sense?
