Thinking of starting a pet supplies business online. Suggest a Growth & Scaling Hack!
I’m considering starting an online pet supplies business — maybe selling leashes, toys, feeding bowls, etc. I’ve seen many sellers on Amazon and Instagram.
My budget is limited, so I want to go slow and steady. But I have no idea where to begin –
Should I focus on Amazon first?
Do I need to build a brand right away?
Would platforms like Sumvaad Bazaar help in testing things early on?
Any guidance, especially from people who’ve been there, would mean a lot.

Before you dive into ads or business development, try to identify your top 3 customer personas (e.g., new pet parents, busy professionals, breeders) and then align your pricing, packaging, and listings to match what they are already buying on marketplaces like Amazon or Flipkart.
Also, a quick heads-up — Sumvaad Bazaar is a B2B space, meant for connecting with wholesalers, resellers, or shop owners, not for direct customer orders. But it’s still a great place to test product demand or explore supplier partnerships.
